Do I need experience or a certification to dive in Bali?

No. Our Discover Scuba program is built for complete beginners — a PADI-certified instructor guides you through a 30-minute briefing and a shallow sea dive (max 12m). Minimum age is 10. If you want your own certification, the 3-day PADI Open Water course is the next step.

Which certifications do you accept for fun dives?

Accepted Answer

We accept PADI, SSI, CMAS, and most recognised agencies. For 2-tank fun dives you need at least an Open Water (OW) certification. Some deeper sites (parts of the Tulamben wreck, Crystal Bay) require Advanced Open Water (AOW). Bring your cert card and logbook.

Is all scuba equipment included?

Yes. Every dive and course includes a full set of serviced equipment: BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, tanks, and weights. Just bring a swimsuit and a towel. If you prefer your own mask or computer, you're welcome to bring it.

Can I surf if I've never tried it before?

Accepted Answer

Yes — most first-timers stand up in their first 2-hour lesson. Beginner lessons run in the gentle whitewater at Batu Bolong, Canggu, with a soft foam board, a max 1:4 coach-to-student ratio, and an ocean-safety briefing before you paddle out.

Is the board and rashguard provided?

Yes. Soft top board, leash, and rashguard are all included in every surf lesson. We also include photos of your session. Bring a swimsuit, reef-safe sunscreen, and water.

How do I book, and how do I pay?

Booking is on WhatsApp — tap any 'Book on WhatsApp' button and the message is pre-filled with the experience, date, and group size. There's no online payment: you pay on the day of your experience, in cash or by transfer. Free cancellation up to 48 hours before.

Which areas do you pick up from?

Complimentary hotel pickup covers Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, and Nusa Dua. Ubud and other areas are available for a small surcharge — message us your hotel and we'll confirm pickup time and any extra cost.

How much does the PADI Open Water course cost?

Accepted Answer

The 3-day PADI Open Water course starts from Rp 5.500.000 (about USD 360) per person. That includes all equipment, PADI e-learning, pool sessions, and 4 open-water dives, with a maximum of 4 students per instructor.

What safety measures are in place?

Accepted Answer

Every trip carries emergency oxygen on board, equipment is serviced monthly, and each dive starts with a pre-dive safety briefing. Group sizes are capped (max 6 divers, max 4 students per course). Our instructors are first-aid and rescue trained.

Is it safe to dive Nusa Penida with the currents?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when you dive with a guide who reads the conditions. Nusa Penida has strong currents, so we time dives to the tide, brief drift technique, and keep groups small (max 6). Manta Point and Crystal Bay are run only when conditions are right — safety comes before the dive.

In which languages do your instructors teach?
