What makes Tulamben special?

Tulamben offers a world-class wreck dive you can reach by walking off the beach. The USAT Liberty is fully encrusted in coral and busy with life, sitting on a slope from 5 to 30 metres. Around it, the shallow Coral Garden suits beginners and the Drop Off wall rewards experienced divers.

What will you see on the wreck?

The hull is draped in soft and hard coral and home to schooling jacks, bumphead parrotfish at dawn, garden eels in the sand, turtles, and the occasional reef shark. Because it starts so shallow, newly certified divers get the full wreck experience.

When should you dive Tulamben?

The dry season (April–October) brings the calmest, clearest water, but the real secret is time of day: arrive at sunrise for glassy conditions, the best light, and the wreck before the crowds. We leave early so you are first in.
