What makes Amed special?
Amed is the calm, easy side of Bali diving. Gentle entries, mild currents, and shallow coral gardens make it perfect for newer divers and for anyone who just wants a relaxed day in clear water. Sites run 5 to 30 metres, with two dives at a comfortable pace.
What will you find underwater?
Amed is a macro paradise: nudibranchs, frogfish, ghost pipefish, and garden eels, set among healthy coral and the artificial Pyramids reef. There is also a shallow Japanese wreck close to shore. Visibility regularly tops 20 metres, so the colours pop.
Can you combine Amed with Tulamben?
Easily — the two areas are neighbours. We can pair Amed’s gentle reefs with the USAT Liberty wreck at Tulamben in a two-area day, or build a multi-day package. It is the relaxed way to see the best of east Bali.
